Focused on neighborhood-first stewardship, these are the core commitments guiding our campaign for City Council.
Public Safety
Fiscal Spending
Smart Growth
Support our first responders and invest in tools and training. Given these resources it will lead to effective service with efficient response times. Letting you sleep well at night knowing your family is safe. Also this investment protects small and large businesses in our community. It’s easier to run your business when you know your city has the resources to protect you when need be.
Ensure balanced city budgets and transparent spending without burdening the residence when budgets are not met. We must be more efficient and productive with our General Fund. It’s our responsibility to be more productive with every tax dollar our citizens pay. Our residence work hard and we should even work even harder to protect and save, while investing back to community.
Plan for responsible development that preserves Chino's “Small Town” feel, but also ensures housing for all levels of Chino’s residences. We need to abide by state restrictions and regulations. But we can’t do that when it comes at expense of our current quality of life. We need to get back to what brought residents to Chino in first place. We need to get back to having space for our children to run around and be safe.

Addressing Chino's Core Needs
Infrastructure
Solving local traffic bottlenecks with smart planning and efficient road maintenance to keep Chino moving. As a Growing City, our population is growing as much as our traffic issues. We must provide the proper infrastructure to support it. We must provide ultimate improvements throughout our community. For years we have waited for development to occur to provide these improvements. It’s time things get done right the first time. We need to be accountable to the citizens of Chino.
Protecting Small Business
Every thriving city needs strong businesses—both small and large. They drive our local economy, create jobs, and provide the goods and services our families depend on every day.
I know the challenges of running a small business firsthand. My family built and operated a successful local business that became a longtime part of the Chino community and a cornerstone of District 2. Over four decades, we endured economic recessions, periods of uncertainty, and, most recently, the COVID-19 pandemic.
We survived because we worked hard, sacrificed, adapted, and refused to give up. For 40 years, our purpose went beyond simply running a business. We were serving our neighbors, supporting our employees, and providing for our Chino family.
That is my small-business story—but it is far from the only one in Chino.
Throughout our city, we have remarkable small businesses, many of them multigenerational. Parents spend decades building something meaningful and eventually pass the torch to their children. These businesses do more than provide goods and services. They know your name. They greet you with a smile. They stay late when something needs to get done. And when our community needs help, they are often among the first to step forward.
They may not always make the headlines, but they are part of the fabric of Chino.
Small-business owners often operate with limited resources while facing rising costs, regulations, and an ever-changing economy. Yet they continue to show up, work hard, and persevere—day after day, month after month, and year after year.
As a Council Member, I will work to support Chino’s small businesses and strengthen our entire business community. I will look for practical ways to reduce unnecessary hurdles, improve communication with City Hall, and bridge gaps through common-sense, win-win solutions that allow businesses, residents, and our city to prosper together.
When Chino businesses succeed, Chino succeeds.
